Treating “manipulation” and “manipulative” like dirty words is foolish. When you put a fork of food to your mouth, that’s manipulation. When you type at your computer, you’re manipulating it. When you plant a crop of wheat, that’s manipulative of nature. Every work done by man is manipulation. Learn some Latin.
Don’t let people who sit on their asses, mentally or physically, for their entire lives make you feel dirty for being willing to act and trying to shape the world with your will. They’re the ones holding humanity down and trying drag us back to the cave. They’re the ones who would make all of us equal by making us all equal with the least of us.

What a brilliant thing. What amazing proof of the wealth of the mind and the utter intellectual poverty of those who claim that capitalism is nothing but robbery. 40,000 years of human society didn’t produce the integrated circuit. 150 years of commerce did.
